What is TENS Therapy?

Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) is a treatment designed to address a range of pain conditions. Including back pain, arthritis, fibromyalgia and tendinitis.

TENS involves the use of low-voltage electrical currents through electrodes strategically placed on the skin. It stands out as a viable alternative to more invasive treatments like surgery or reliance on medication. It is a non-invasive, non-surgical, and risk-free solution for chronic pain, acute injuries, and other pain in general.

How does TENS Therapy work?

TENS Therapy induces low-voltage electrical currents that transfer energy to your affected cells, triggering the body's natural pain relief mechanisms. This targeted approach is particularly effective for managing pain associated with various conditions, providing relief and improving overall well-being.

During your TENS treatment, gentle electrical impulses will be directed towards the specific area of concern. The experience is incredibly relaxing and pain-free, allowing you to lie down and unwind while benefiting from this advanced pain relief technique.

Benefits of TENS Therapy

  • Non-Invasive Pain Relief - Experience effective pain reduction without the need for surgery or long-term reliance on medication.
  • Improved Comfort and Mobility - Reduce stiffness, muscle tension, and joint discomfort to help you move more freely and comfortably.
  • Stimulate Injury Recovery - Enhance circulation and support the body’s natural healing processes to accelerate recovery from injury.
  • Targeted Pain Management - Deliver precise treatment to specific areas of pain or injury for focused and effective relief.
  • Holistic Approach - Works alongside other physiotherapy treatments to support comprehensive, long-term recovery and well-being.
