About Physician Leona Quek

Physician Leona Quek is a registered Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Physician with the Singapore TCM Practitioners Board. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Biomedical Sciences from Nanyang Technological University and a Bachelor of Medicine in Chinese Medicine from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. With more than 7 years of clinical experience in community TCM practice, she has cared for patients with a wide range of health concerns and chronic conditions, and applies a personalised and holistic approach to treatment informed by both Traditional Chinese Medicine and modern healthcare principles.

Earlier in her career, Physician Leona served as Branch Supervisor, where she led clinic operations and guided a team of physicians and healthcare staff. She also served as Director of a medical research institute focused on advancing the evidence-based development of TCM and has years of clinical research experience in a hospital setting. These experiences sharpened her clinical judgement and approach to developing holistic treatment plans through careful assessment of each patient’s condition and overall health, delivering organised, attentive, and person-centred care.

Physician Leona is also an Associate Member of the Singapore Society of Lifestyle Medicine and has undergone training in motivational interviewing to support patients in making sustainable lifestyle changes. Beyond the clinic, she serves as a youth health advocate trainer for young volunteers and participates in overseas medical missions, where she provides acupuncture treatment to underserved communities. Her commitment to patient care was recognised with the Singapore Health Quality Service Award presented by SingHealth in 2026.

Physician Leona is attentive, taking time to understand patients’ concerns and possible root causes before recommending individualised treatments, which may include herbal prescriptions, acupuncture, and other therapeutic interventions tailored to patients’ constitution and recovery goals. As part of the Regis Wellness TCM Physician team, she supports our integrative approach towards healthcare and patient-first experience.
